Operation Guide for Shanghai 3S Technology Photocatalytic Reactor
I. Pre-experiment Preparations
Place the photocatalytic reactor on a cool and well-ventilated laboratory bench, ensuring there are no obstructions around it. Check the light source module (with a wavelength range of 250 - 975 nm), reaction tube slots, and temperature-controlled jacket to ensure they are clean and undamaged. Select reaction tubes of the appropriate size (2 - 50 mL) according to the experimental requirements and place magnetic stirring bars inside them. Connect the temperature-controlled circulating water system and set the water temperature to prevent the light source from overheating.
II. Parameter Setting and Startup
Set the light source wavelength (e.g., 365 nm ultraviolet light), power (adjustable independently from 0 - 15 W), stirring speed (300 - 2500 RPM), and reaction time (0 - 99 hours) via the operation panel. Turn on the fan switch to ensure heat dissipation. Then, start the reactor, light source, and stirring system in sequence. Record data such as temperature and rotational speed at regular intervals during the experiment. If there are any abnormalities in temperature or pressure, pause the experiment immediately.
III. Post-experiment Handling
After the reaction is completed, first turn off the light source and wait for 30 minutes for cooling before removing the reaction tubes. Rinse the reaction tubes three times with deionized water. When an anaerobic and anhydrous operation is required, dry them with nitrogen gas. Clean the dust inside the main unit and regularly replace the sealing rings and light source modules. Before long-term shutdown, purge the pipelines with nitrogen gas and cover the unit with a dust cover.
